Health care for today and tomorrow is a joint effort between the community, the hospital and foundations, like this one.  The mission of the Geary Community Healthcare Foundation, a 501 C (3) non-profit organization, is to raise funds for the support of healthcare programs in Geary County, and to support the needs of Geary Community Hospital. Since the Foundation’s beginning in 1987, it has raised over seven million dollars through donations, memorials, and special events. Because of committed people like you, quality and convenient healthcare for the community continues to exist and will continue to prosper.

The Geary Community Healthcare Foundation held their 14th annual western fundraising event, Boots, Chaps and Cowboy Hats on Friday, June 10th at Bob and Lynn Small’s big red country barn, and raised $15,629.49 to support Geary County Schools USD 475 school nurses.  For more details, please click on the Events tab and then click on Boots, Chaps & Cowboy Hats.


Delivering Change

(Left)  A check for the proceeds from Boots, Chaps & Cowboy Hats for $12,415 was presented to the USD 475 Geary County School Board for healthcare needs for USD 475.
